What does the site do?
- Mock tests in the official format: 20 questions, 5 of them on values, with the 45-minute timer and the real pass rule.
- Topic practice, hard mode and flashcards for each testable part.
- Review mistakes and a readiness score, so you know what to study next.
- Study notes and guides that follow the structure of the booklet.
Why does it exist?
The pass rule catches people out: you need 15 out of 20 and every values question right. Reading the booklet is essential, but many people also want realistic practice before test day. We wanted that practice to be free, private and accurate, without a subscription.
The best preparation is still the official booklet. Home Affairs says Our Common Bond is all you need to prepare and does not endorse external courses or apps, including this one. Use this site alongside the booklet, not instead of it.
How is the content created and reviewed?
Questions and explanations are written in our own words from the testable section of Our Common Bond. Drafting is AI-assisted, and every question is checked against the source text. Each question links to the part of the booklet it comes from. The full process, including how we handle corrections, is in our methodology. Our sources page lists every official document we use.
